About the CESSDA-ELSST project

Introduction

Welcome to the CESSDA-ELSST project blog!

CESSDA-ELSST is a five-year, ESRC-funded project at the UK Data Service, UK Data Archive, University of Essex.  Its aims are to enhance and improve the European Language Social Science Thesaurus (ELSST), including a full root-and-branch review and redevelopment of its management application.

It follows on from other JISC-funded work undertaken at the UK Data Archive to apply SKOS to the Humanities And Social Science Thesaurus (HASSET), via the SKOS-HASSET project.

More information about the CESSDA-ELSST project appears on the UK Data Service website.  Progress will be communicated via this blog.
